The "Back to Sleep" program has greatly reduced the incidence of S.I.D.S. (sudden infant death syndrome) &, as such is a wonderful thing. However there has been an increase in the incidence of plagiocephaly over recent years - flatness of one or both sides of the back of a baby's head. Heather Davidson CO has recently completed a thorough training program in the treatment of this & related diagnoses, and we add this to the list of pediatric services we confidently provide.

Since the treatment of these conditions is relatively new in the realm of orthotics, it is not widely recognized by insurance companies. The staff at the Westwood office is committed to resolving this issue & will work with any insurer to establish protocol. We are contracted providers with most insurance companies & hope that we will succeed in making this service more readily available for all who need it.
